The Valley of the Moon Facility in Final Phase: Support Services Building Will Make Entire Complex 5 Times Bigger Than Original Site

 

PRESS DEMOCRAT Sonoma County's refuge for abused and neglected children enters its third and final phase of construction this week, as hard hat crews begin work on a $14.8 million building that will house support services for the new Valley of the Moon Children's Home.

The 25,500-square-foot building will include an infant and toddler wing, a medical wing with dental and mental health facilities, group counseling space and a visiting area. It also will house the Redwood Children's Center for sexually abused kids.
